Professor Ning Yan（顔甯），多伦多大学林学院化学工程与应用科学技术系教授，多伦多大学制浆造纸中心主任。研究领域主要包罗生物质料科学及复合质料（forest-based biomaterials science and composites, bio-based adhesives and adhesion）、生物质基黏合剂及粘合（bio-based adhesives and adhesion）、数字印刷与纸张外貌科学（digital printing and surface sciences of paper），近来颜教授的研究团队主要研究新型情况友好生物质基复合质料（developing novel environmentally-friendly green bio-based composites）、以可再生林业生物质为原料生产绿色化学品（producing green chemicals using renewable forestry biomass as feedstock）等。
