Alexander Nosov教授是获得和研究植物细胞培养物的专家。主要事情偏向是研究细胞培养物与完整植物相比的次生代谢物（身分、判定、数量、合成调治）。这些研究是确定植物生命中次生代谢功效的新要领。目前已对20多种植物进行了研究。植物细胞培养物中次生代谢物形成的特异性看法已经形成。这一看法被有效地用于有目的地获得细胞培养物菌株--有价值的生物活性化合物的生产者。诺索夫教授及其同事已经开发出在差异设计和容量的生物反映器中培养植物细胞培养物的有效系统--直至工业化生产。与医疗机构和工业公司（"Biopharmos"、"Vita"）相助，利用植物细胞培养物的生物质生产出了许多生物技术产物（营养保健品Vitagmal、Trifitol、Neovitine、膏剂Vitagmaline），这些产物已投放俄罗斯市场。
